A Statement of Attainment (SOA) by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) will be issued upon completion of the course and passing the assessment.
Minimum Entry Requirement
  • Academic qualification requirement: Proficiency in English (speaking, listening, reading, writing) at WPL Level 4 or equivalent.
  • Participants should have at least one year of work experience in any industry.
  • A screening process will be conducted on case-by-case basis.

Funding Eligibility Criteria:

  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Trainee must achieve at least 75% attendance
  • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments, and attain 100% competency
  • Metropolitan YMCA reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria

SkillsFuture Credit:
  • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.
PSEA:
  • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) funds to offset course fees payable after funding. 
Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding:
  • $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year.
  • AP funding will be computed based on the actual number of training hours attended by the trainee.
  • Note: Courses / Modules under Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) will not be eligible for AP funding claim.

How do I check how much skillsFuture Credit I Have
​Please log in to MySkillsFuture Portal using your Singpass or your FIN. Once logged in, you can view your available SkillsFuture Credit balance under ‘SkillsFuture Credit’.
When will my SkillsFuture Credits expire?
The original $500 SkillsFuture Credit that was provided in 2016 has no expiry date. Any unused SkillsFuture Credit provided as part of the one-off SkillsFuture Credit Top-up and Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support) will expire on 31 December 2025.
When must I submit my claim for SkillsFuture Credit?
At the point of course registration, please inform us that you intend to use your SkillsFuture Credit in part or in full for the qualifying course fee. You should then submit your claim on the MySkillsFuture Portal within 60 days before the course start date.

Please note that you can only submit claims for amounts that are less than or equal to your account balance, or equal to the full course fee, whichever is lower.
