VEX 123 ROBOTICS INSTRUCTOR
Job description
We are looking for passionate freelance instructors to conduct fun and engaging VEX 123 Robotics classes for preschool children.
Responsibilities
Conduct VEX 123 Robotics lessons using the provided curriculum and lesson plans
Introduce children to basic coding, computational thinking and problem-solving concepts
Guide children through hands-on robotics activities and group challenges
Set up, maintain and account for the robotics equipment and learning materials
Ensure children’s safety and engagement during lessons
Manage the classroom and encourage teamwork and participation
Assess and record students’ progress
Maintain good working relationships with centres, teachers, and parents
Requirements:
Diploma or relevant qualification in Robotics, Engineering, Information Technology, Education or a related field preferred
Familiarity with VEX 123 or other educational robotics platforms is an advantage
Experience teaching preschool children or conducting enrichment programmes preferred
Able to explain basic coding and robotics concepts in a simple and engaging manner
Good classroom management and communication skills
Patient, enthusiastic, reliable and committed
Willing to travel between centres
MOE / PA registration is an advantage
A valid medical certification in accordance with ECDA requirements will be an advantage
Job Types: Freelance
Salary: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour nett
Schedule: Classes are conducted at various locations and times across Singapore.
Instructors may choose classes based on their availability, preferred schedules, and preferred locations.
